WHAT TO EXPECT?

Coaching is a process to help you with your personal development, regardless of the area of interest or expertise. Your investment in yourself and your growth is what coaching encompasses. Experts recommend spending about 10% of earnings each year on personal development in order to experience significant measurable growth, whether financial, professional or personal.  Your development investment may include life coaching, self-help books and seminars, workshops, retreats, getaways, and any other forms of growth and life improvement activities.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

Coaches may charge hourly or flat fees, depending on their and your needs and area of interest. The range may be anywhere from $50-$200+ per hour or $500-$3000 per session.  As an example, sessions may be 3-hr, half-day or all-day long. There are many forms of coaching available, such as one-on-one, group, teleseminar, mentoring and can be conducted in person, online, via telephone, Email, and Skype. For coaching to be effective, it is an on-going engagement that generally takes from 90 days to 6 months, 12 months, and sometimes longer.

HOW TO KNOW WHO TO HIRE?

Most coaches offer a free consultation to find out if the match is a good one for both parties and ALL COACHES should present a coaching agreement, in writing, so all your questions are answered ahead of time, and you know what to expect. We do recommend hiring coaches with either certification, academic or business credentials, depending on the area of interest. Although some coaches simply have great life and business experience and may be a good match for you, personally.
